Refund policy
Returns, Refunds & Guarantee
At Jewellery Ambre, we want you to be completely happy with your purchase. If you change your mind about an eligible item, we offer a 30-day return period for a refund, subject to the conditions below.
30-Day Returns
You may request a return within 30 days of receiving your order if you are not completely satisfied with your purchase.
Return Conditions
To be eligible for a change-of-mind return:
-
The item must be returned within 30 days of delivery.
-
The item must be unused, unworn and in its original condition.
-
The item must be returned with its original packaging and any accompanying certificates or documentation.
-
Items that have been altered, resized, engraved, personalised or otherwise modified at the customer's request are not eligible for change-of-mind returns.
-
Earrings are not eligible for change-of-mind returns once opened or worn, for hygiene reasons.
-
Custom-made or specially ordered jewellery is not eligible for change-of-mind returns unless otherwise agreed with Jewellery Ambre.
Jewellery Ambre reserves the right to refuse a change-of-mind return if the item has been worn, damaged, altered or is not returned in its original condition.
Postage-Paid Returns
For eligible change-of-mind returns, Jewellery Ambre will cover the return postage cost.
Please contact us before sending an item back. We will provide instructions for the return and, where applicable, a return postage label.
Customers are responsible for ensuring the item is securely packaged and safely returned. Jewellery Ambre is not responsible for items that are lost or damaged while being returned without following our return instructions.
Refunds
Once we receive your returned item, it will be inspected to ensure it meets the return conditions.
If the return is approved, the refund will be processed using the same payment method used for the original purchase.
Refunds will be processed after the returned item has been received and inspected. Please allow additional time for the refund to appear in your account, depending on your payment provider.
Original delivery charges are not refundable for change-of-mind returns.
Faulty or Damaged Items
If your jewellery arrives damaged or develops a fault, please contact us as soon as possible at office@jewelleryambre.com.au.
Please provide your order number and, where possible, photographs and details of the issue. We will assess the item and work with you to determine the appropriate solution.
Where an item is found to have a manufacturing fault or other issue covered by your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, Jewellery Ambre will provide the appropriate remedy, which may include repair, replacement or refund.
These rights apply regardless of any additional guarantee offered by Jewellery Ambre.
3-Month Jewellery Guarantee
In addition to your rights under Australian Consumer Law, Jewellery Ambre provides a 3-month guarantee against unexpected issues arising from the workmanship or construction of the jewellery.
For example, if a chain breaks due to a workmanship or manufacturing issue within 3 months of purchase, we will assess the item and, where covered by the guarantee, repair or replace it free of charge.
The guarantee does not cover damage or issues resulting from:
-
Accidents or impact
-
Misuse or improper handling
-
Neglect
-
Normal wear and tear
-
Loss or theft
-
Damage caused by chemicals, perfumes, cosmetics or other substances
-
Unauthorised repairs or alterations
The 3-month guarantee does not limit or replace any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law.
